Napokon znamo kad izlazi novi film Wesa Andersona s Timothéejem Chalametom u glavnoj ulozi

Čim je u prosincu 2018. godine otkriveno da će genijalni Timothée Chalamet surađivati s proslavljenim redateljem Wesom Andersonom, Hollywood nije prestao šuškati o filmu The French Dispatch. Sada napokon znamo i kada izlazi.

U SAD-u će se premijerno prikazati 24. sprnja. Film će navodno biti ‘ljubavno pismo novinarima’, a radnja se smješta u fikcijski francuski grad u 20. stoljeću. Anderson, poznat po danas kultnim filmovima poput The Royal Tenenbaums, Moonrise Kingdom i The Grand Budapest Hotel, oživjet će kolekciju priča objavljenih u novinama The French Dispatch.

U filmu koji još nema ni trailer, a već je postavio visoka očekivanja, mladi Chalamet, koji se već neko vrijeme nameće kao najveća glumačka nada novijeg doba, utjelovit će jednu od glavnih uloga uz druga velika imena filmskog svijeta.

Utopijsku glumačku postavu filma The French Dispatch sada čine i Frances McDormand, Bill Murray, Benicio Del Toro, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson i Kate Winslet. Iako s duplo manje iskustva, Chalamet je već neko vrijeme ‘skupa’ roba u Hollywoodu. Ovaj 24-godišnjak dignuo je prašinu ulogom u filmu Call Me By Your Name. Istom si je ulogom odmah osigurao nominaciju za nagradu Oscar uz pohvale kritičara za nenametljivu glumu i šarm koji posjeduje.

Chalametu se u Andersonovom filmu pridružila još jedna mlada glumica koja sad već ima pozamašan broj nominacija za Oscara iza sebe, Saoirse Ronan. Interesantna je to odluka redatelja, ako uzmemo u obzir da su Ronan i Chalamet već nekoliko puta zajedno glumili u blockbusterima. Iza njih je upravo i suradnja na filmu Little Women zbog kojeg je Ronan nominirana za Oscara za najbolju glumicu.

Mladi glumački duo pojavio se zajedno i u filmu Lady Bird koji je također Ronan plasirao u favorite za Oscara iste godine kad se Chalamet probio na scenu. Čini se da je Anderson u svoj film tako dodao novi hollywoodski on-screen par u nastajanju. Ono što su bili Johnny Depp i Helen Bonham Carter, Amy Adams i Christian Bale, Julia Roberts i George Clooney, sada su Saoirse Ronan i Timothée Chalamet u nastajanju.
